Prior to joining PIMCO in 2012, he was co-head of desk strategy for Latin American growth markets at Goldman Sachs. Previously, he held senior positions in fixed income analytics at Nomura and Lehman Brothers in London. He has 19 years of investment experience and holds a Ph.D. in financial economics from the University of Bonn in Germany, from which he also received a master’s degree in mathematics.
