Prior to joining PIMCO in 2011, he spent 13 years with Allianz Global Investors KAG, most recently as a business developer and account manager for institutional clients in the financial institutions channel. Previously, Mr. Baumer was head of the retail department at Gerlinger Bank eG. He has 27 years of investment experience and holds a diploma in business administration from the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University in Stuttgart. Mr. Baumer completed the CEFA program of DVFA in 2002.
