Mr. Ozeki is an executive vice president and head of the Asian credit research team in the Tokyo office. He is responsible for covering Japanese financial, industrial corporate, and Asian financial sectors. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2005, he was with Nomura Securities (Tokyo), where he was a senior advisor for the investment banking department. Prior to Nomura, Mr. Ozeki was a managing director and head of credit research at Merrill Lynch Japan, as well as a member of several councils and advisory boards with the Japanese government, including the Financial System Council of the Financial Services Agency. He has 23 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from the University of Hull in the UK and an undergraduate degree from the University of Tokyo. He currently is a member of the Public Fund Advisory Board of the Metropolitan Government of Tokyo.
