Mr. Blomenkamp is a senior vice president and portfolio manager in the Munich office. He is head of the European collateralised sector team, responsible for asset-backed securities and Pfandbriefe in Europe. Prior to joining PIMCO in 2000, he managed the loan portfolio for Allianz Life Insurance Company in Stuttgart. He has 13 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from the University of Wuerzburg, Germany.
